Each Caran d’Ache Fixpencil is manufactured in Geneva Switzerland to the highest quality standards. Featuring a lead-clutching mechanism that opens with the push of the top button, these fixpencils also have a lightweight aluminium body, smooth finger grip area and a built-in sharpener concealed beneath the push button to allow complete control over the point fineness.

The hexagonal shape makes this the ultimate pencil for drawing, sketching and writing.

The Sharpener button is a multi-functional component:

• Push mechanism –  advances or releases the lead
• Cap – protects the internal clutch system
• Hidden sharpener –  used to sharpen the 2mm or 3mm lead.
  – The sharpener is built into the button itself, not a separate part.

Caran d’Ache Fixpencil lead refills are sold separately and are available in an HB lead grade.  6 x 115mm long lead supplied in a plastic tray with sliding lid.
